🎓 Congratulations Mohamed Elkhodiry, PhD!! 🎓

After 5 years of hard work and dedication, this Winter semester, Mohamed successfully defended his PhD thesis, titled: Recruiting Endothelial Colony Forming Cells to the Surface of Regenerative Vascular Implants. Mohamed was one of the first PhD students to work in the SCBL and he has mentored many students along the way. He will now be moving on to work as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Surgery at Columbia University. He will be working on in situ tissue engineering of blood vessels for pediatric patients with congenital heart defects under the supervision of Dr. David Kalfa.


We wish you all the best in your new position! You will be missed!
